Big One is the third work in the Monument series and simultaneously the largest painting in this collection to date. The Monument series is conceived as an evolving project focused on progressively deepening detail and approaching the hyperdetail characteristic of smaller UNIVERSE formats.

 

Each Monument is a step closer. Big One represents the current pinnacle of this evolution—monumental scale combined with increasing structural depth. The larger the format, the greater the challenge. The more space for detail.
