Where gravity creates skin.

 

Blue Skin belongs to the Black Square series—works whose primary characteristic is the original oil structure of each piece. This painting is exceptionally rich in linseed oil, which enabled the creation of a surface literally resembling skin—a texture shaped by gravity during the creation process.

 

The work was created through a two-phase process lasting 6 months, followed by one year of slow curing at constant temperature. This method produced a structure that is unique even within the Black Square series.
