Universe Collector’s Edition is a series of original oil paintings inspired by the act
of observation.
Just as distant galaxies reveal themselves only in darkness and through magnification, these paintings invite the viewer to look beyond what is immediately visible. What appears to be a distant nebula is, in reality, a fragment of oil paint measuring only a few centimeters.
Viewed through a magnifying lens, hidden structures begin to emerge. Pigments resemble nebulae, star fields and cosmic formations, creating the impression of looking into the depths of space through a telescope.
The paintings are intentionally small. Their physical scale contrasts with the vastness they reveal, allowing an entire universe to exist within a space that can fit in the palm of a hand.
Sometimes, only a few centimeters are needed to create infinity
The paintings in the Universe series are created in small formats, often measuring just 20 × 20 centimeters.
The galaxies and structures themselves are often much smaller.
What appears to be a vast universe from a distance actually exists within a space that can be covered by a single finger.
This is not a collection.
It is an evolution.
